ABOUT US / How OddBodd.com came to be.

As the founder of OddBodd.com I’d like to welcome you to OddBodd.com, where you’ll soon be able to find “What’s Happening Today” in many of the businesses in your community.

The idea of OddBodd.com came about from good and bad experiences from being a small business owner, using the internet to find local businesses, developing training systems and operation systems for businesses and meeting other business owners, big and small, dealing with the same issues, concerns and costs.

Hunting for answers, I scoured the internet for about 2 years looking at the expert’s reviews of what was good, what was bad, what was working and what people were looking for in a better system to advertise and find local business information without intrusive advertising, high costs and irrelevant results.

After many initial versions of a system that would benefit both Businesses and people looking for more information about events, businesses, jobs etc in their community, OddBodd.com was finally born.

Not one of my friends or family that we presented OddBodd to spared their feelings or thoughts and I thank them for their bluntness! Their constant questioning helped make OddBodd a service every one of them could use, whether as a business or a person looking for current, valuable information!

Knowing all of the small business owners I know, and wanting to tell others why they were so great was one of the driving factors of developing OddBodd.com. I kept meeting more people who were really interesting, who had so much passion for their business and were very good at what they did, many times better than some of the big companies. Yet they were struggling because they were small, because they could not afford to advertise in competition with larger companies. They also were struggling with the rising costs of advertising and the high costs to hire new employees.

Great businesses are not always big ones and I have made it my personal mission to help every business compete on a level playing field, where every business can be found, every business can afford to advertise, let people know what’s new, if they are hiring, have events or are experts in their industry and more.

Over 75% of all businesses in the US are small businesses and now they have a place to not only put all of their most important information, but in a way that it can be found, organized and kept for future reference by the people who want it.

Developing OddBodd.com the way we have now gives us the ability to keep developing it as both technology and demand for different ways to find information evolves. I look forward to seeing your business on OddBodd.com and helping you show What’s Happening Today to the people looking for you on the internet.

Sincerely

Nolan Collins Owner and Creator, OddBodd.com
